Harrow Hill Reserves 1-0 Redmarley

DIVISION One new boys Harrow Hill Reserves moved into third place with a 1-0 win over Redmarley.

Substitute Scott Davies got the decisive goal in the second half of what had been a tight game.

Despite the boggy conditions both sides created a number of chances in the opening 45 minutes but failed to convert them.

The home side stepped up a gear in the second half using wingers Ian Scrivens and Luke Mayo to good effect and making a number of chances.

Manager Nick Hopkins is pleased with his side’s progress although long-term injuries to strikers has cost them points.

Elsewhere in the division leaders Yorkley beat United Longhope 9-0 while second-place Howle Hill had to be content with a point after a 1-1 draw at Tidenham.
