RUARDEAN Hill Rangers’ were set a tough challenge for their first home game of the season with the visitors being high-flying Shirehampton.

Rangers soaked up the early pressure and created some chances for themselves.

Keeper Aaron Underwood also kept them in it with some fine saves.

The stalemate was broken after 25 minutes, followed by another two in six minutes.

Rangers were 4-0 down at the break and a late penalty from Simon Clark left the final score at 1-5.

English Bicknor went ahead at Little Stoke thanks to a first-half own goal.

Jordan Heales doubled the score when he broke clear to slide the ball past the keeper.

Bicknor player-manager Darryl Addis came on for the last five minutes.

He took advantage of a mistake by the home side in midfield to score for a 3-0 win.

Broadwell travelled to Frampton United for a game between two sides who were so far undefeated this season.

The Foresters took the lead after 20 minutes with Dan Brain on target.

Frampton equalised from the spot.

Two minutes into the second half when Broadwell’s Kristian Burnard was sent off for a second yellow card.

The home side took the lead when Manolo Espada hit his second from a rebound Liam Thomas almost salvaged a point for the visitors near the end but his shot was well saved.
