THE Triple Crown and Six Nation trophies were on tour in the Forest last week and stopped off at the Speech House Hotel and Drybrook RFC.

First stop was at Drybrook before owners of the Speech House Peter and Gill Hands had their photo taken with the special trophies.

It was thanks to Gloucestershire Community Rugby Football who popped in to the hotel en-route to Gloucester as a thank you for the support given to them by the hotel.

It was a dream come true for former rugby playing boss Peter who said: “Just to be in their presence and to admire them close up was quite an emotional moment. I cannot thank the Gloucestershire Community rugby lads enough for popping in.

“It was a huge surprise for all my staff who, along with guests, were very happy to photograph them.”
