BLAKENEY’S second team had a double reason for celebration this weekend – the official handover of their new kit and a rare win.

A goal from Martin Searle gave the visitors a first half lead but three unanswered scores after the break gave Blakeney their second win of the season.

The Blakeney goals came from Ian Jelley and substitutes Cameron Davis and Tyler Love and leaves the team still third from bottom.

Tidenham started the day in fourth but a win for Mitcheldean, who thrashed Harrow Hill 3-11, meant they dropped to fifth.

Before the game started skipper Phil Barker-Benfield presented a ceremonial shirt on behalf of new sponsors, Stroat-based Wyevern Garage.
