Viney St Swithins 3-2 Woolaston Reserves

VINEY St Swithins closed the gap on leaders Redmarley to two points with this win against Woolaston Reserves.

They maintained their second place in the North Gloucestershire Division on goal difference as Whitecroft leap-frogged Worrall Hill into third place.

Worrall Hill were in Geo Sandoe Cup action, beating Coleford Town 5-4 on penalties, but for the third week on the trot, leaders Redmarley faced a postponement.

Viney took the points thanks to a brace from Matthew Chandler and one from Brad Morgan and are now on 25 points but have played three game more than the leaders.

Carl Adams and Kyle Taylor were the scorers for Woolaston who remain in fifth.

Whitecroft beat Blakeney 3-2 to move into third, but they have played two more games than Redmarley and have a game in hand over Viney.
