THIS match was not the walkover that the final score might suggest.

Weston went in two goals to the good at half-time but a quick goal minutes into the second half brought St Briavels back into it.

The goal seemed to galvanise the visitors who then scored four without further reply to leave them second on goal difference behind Herefordshire neighbours Ross Juniors.

Weston went ahead thanks to the first of three from Jack Wright and a 20-yarder from Chris Tookey.

Gavin Thurston brought St Briavels back into it but goals from Wright, Adam Dewitt and Darren Smith secured the three points for Weston.

Ross remain top of the division following a 0-11 win at bottom side Rank Outsiders Reserves while a 4-1 victory over Milkwall kept third-placed Sling in touch with the top two.
