WHITECROFT were denied the points by two second-half goals – but not far away another Forest team was having the proverbial nightmare.
Goals by Dan Spence and Neville Harris meant that Redbrook leapfrogged Whitecroft into fourth place thanks to a slightly better goal difference.
Meanwhile Soudley did their goal difference no harm with a 0-19 thrashing of Lydbrook Athletic.
Although Lydbrook had lost all three games coming into Saturday's match, they had held leaders English Bicknor to 1-0 the previous week.
By the break Soudley had already scored nine times but they outdid themselves in the second half to go one better and net 10.
Dannie Brain led the charge for the visitors with five goals while substitute Ben Fishwick got four.
There were hat-tricks for Jody Taylor and James Turley while Paul Johnson got two while Gareth Stephens and substitute Kristian Lewis each scored once.
This weekend there is only one game in the division with leaders English Bicknor travelling to Mitcheldean with other teams playing in the Gloucestershire Junior Cup.
