NEWENT Football Club is celebrating another successful year with 10 wins out of a possible 14. The team only drew four times and has not lost a home league match for two and a half years.

Four players have been selected for the Select Forest of Dean Team to play in a significant match on July 12 in Cinderford.

Their success is further added to by the announcement of an under 14s team to add to the four teams already at the club. 

Chairman, Kevin Mason said: "This club is going places and is looking to build on its success so far."

The first team has now moved up to Northern Senior League Division One.
