The two undefeated sides in intermediate group two in the West Dean Charities met for an all-or-nothing game.

The two sides were evenly matched throughout the game and it took a great goal from Simon Ball in the first half to separate them.

Despite putting on the pressure Broadwell could not find a way through to secure a semi-final place.

Broadwell manager, Scott Hurcombe said: “We were disappointed with our performance but Puma deserved it for the effort they put in.”

The other teams in the draw for the intermediate semi final which will be drawn tonight are Mushet and Coalway, Lydney and Bream Amts.

There are also senior and junior cup competitions.
