Westbury 14-17 Chepstow Druids
---------
AN Easter weekend free of league fixtures allowed the opportunity for a cross-border friendly.
Chepstow’s second XV, the Druids, made the 20-mile journey up the A48 and went home with the win.
The weather made life difficult for both sides and the slippery condition meant there were many handling errors.
Number eight Jake Quinlan capped an outstanding game for the home side with both of Westbury’s tries.
Captain Aled Halford-Tuffley converted both touchdowns.
Chepstow’s points came through tries from James Francis, Ashley Mustoe and Christian Griffiths who also added the Monmouthshire side’s only conversion.
