FOREST of Dean Junior Katie Kearsey has won the accolade of the Under-11 Gloucestershire Sportshall Performer of the Year.

Katie and several other Foerest athletes represented Gloucestershire at the South west Champs at the University of the West of England on January 29.

Katie was part of the Gloucestershire girls' A team which came third. Gloucestershire boys A came second; Gloucestershire B girls were fifth and Gloucestershire B boys were also fifth.
