COLEFORD United's ground held up well despite the recent torrential rain and the Reserves were able to go-ahead with their Gloucestershire FA Primary Cup quarter-final.

United Reserves had booked their place in the last eight thanks to a 5-1 victory away at Down Ampney

The home side started well and had the best of the first half but the visitors from Cheltenham took a 1-0 lead into the interval against the run of play.

Leckhampton started the second half strongly and two quick goals gave them a stranglehold on the game.

United pulled one back through James Wayman but another brace of goals gave Leckhampton an unassailable 1-5 lead and although Sean Edmunds pulled another back towards the end.

Although the second side are out of the Primary Cup they are having a good season overall and are currently top of their league while the firsts are pushing for promotion in their league.
