IN the latest article from the New Regard, the 2025 publication of the Forest of Dean Local History Society, historian Owen McLaughlin looks at the story of Camp 61 at Wynols Hill. Built in the summer of 1942 its purpose was to accommodate Italian prisoners of war who designed and built the Marconi Monument
